About MyGeneralPractice Desktop
MyGeneralPractice and MyPracticeTeam have been developed by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and associates to facilitate the use of electronic information resources in general practice. MyGeneralPractice (GP version) MyGeneralPractice is available to all RACGP financial members, registered medical practitioners, residents, interns and registrars, forms part of a college membership package. It contains subscriptions valued at over $4,000 per year including full subscription to 10 electronic international texts such as Griffiths’ 5 minute clinical consult, Degowin’s diagnostic examination, a detailed dermatology atlas and much more. It will be your point of access for a wide range of practice guidelines, patient education materials, journals, EBM resources and RACGP resources including gplearning and online QA&CPD statements. MyGeneralPractice is available free to RACGP financial members. MyPracticeTeam MyPracticeTeam has been designed specifically for practice nurses, practice managers and other practice staff, it has been developed in collaboration with AAPM and APNA. It provides access to many valuable resources to help practice staff save time, money and provide better patient care. It also contains subscriptions valued at $300 plus per year including Ambulatory Care Procedures for the Nurse Practitioner, Delmar's Fundamental and Advanced Nursing, Nursing Assistant Illustrated and Wound Management - Principles and Practice - 2nd edition. GPDirect™, an online shop for general practice supplies can also be accessed through MyGeneralPractice (a separate monthly subscription fee applies). MyPracticeTeam is available free to all practice staff around Australia (you do not have to be an RACGP member).
